Anneliese
lives and writes in Glasgow, Scotland. She was born in Germany in
1982 and grew up in Buckinghamshire, England. She has also lived
in San Francisco, Berlin and Washington, DC.
Anneliese's short story ‘Grace’
was published in Glaswegian anthology Outside of a Dog in 2006.
She is now working on a novel set in Nottingham that deals with
blindness and visual impairment. In 2007 she spent four months researching
the novel at the Library of Congress.
Ever seeking new ways of merging the creative and critical,
Anneliese is enjoying a long stay in academia. Having completed
a BA Hons in English Studies at the University of Nottingham, and
an MLitt in Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow, she is
now in her final year of a PhD in English Literature, funded by
the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
She has served
six months as General Editor and is now Training Co-ordinator and
consultant for the postgraduate journal eSharp.
